Close pass through Traffic Lights

I was cycling along the A551 Leasowe Road heading towards Moreton and had stopped to the left of the road in the cycle box at the traffic lights at the junction with Reeds Lane as they were on Red. There was a vehicle stationary in the right hand lane. The lights changed to green and I proceeded forward into the junction and was immediately passed extremely closely and at speed on my right by a yellow Hyundi van which had "trade" plates on. The van was so close I could have touched it with my elbow.
