Elderly Couple Close Pass

Travelling south on Pacific Hwy and as the cycle lane is full of holes, cars, debris and very narrow I was cycling in the left of the lane and the car came within 10cm and then into the cycle lane.
I caught up with the car at the next stop and spoke with the elderly driver. Very apologetic and wasnt aware that he had come so close.
