Never mind the cyclist, straight through will do!

Going through a roundabout, the vehicle on the left can be briefly seen before appearing as if from nowhere regardless of the requirement to give way just as I was about to enter the west bound lane into which I was turning and had I not recognise that they were not going to give way, I would have been "taken out".
