Overtaking Wild Card

On a narrow road in the Royal National Park the speed limit is 60 kph. I was overtaken by a small hatch  (allowed across double, unbroken lines under the NSW road rules) and the two of us were doing near on the speed limit. However, shortly afterward a utility overtook both myself and the car in front in one go, clearly breaking road rules. The driver had no idea if there was a vehicle coming the other way around one of the corners just ahead.
